Brand identity
Mads Brügger and the group of owners behind Frihedsbrevet rallied around an ideal. The ideal that a free and independent press works best without government subsidy. Leading by example, they decided that their new media corporation would forego any government subsidy — a radical and rebellious move in Denmark, where practically every single media outlet receives some form of public subsidy. And they have been speaking truth to power ever since. We designed the identity to reflect their uncompromising anti-authoritarian spirit.
